Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 4, 2012, Mr. James M. “Mike” Dover, 61, husband of Mrs. Barbara Turner Dover.
Mr. Dover was the owner of Dover & Son Distributors and was an independent distributor for Little Debbie Snack Cakes for 31 years. He was a member of the Georgia Bulldog Club and loved NASCAR and Golf.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Jimmy W. Dover (Amanda) of Evans and Michael E. Dover of Augusta; grandchildren: Jay William Dover and Ryan Thomas Dover; mother: Ann Shedd Dover. Mr. Dover was preceded in death by his father James William Dover and his brother Jack Harrison Dover.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be the Little Debbie Snack Cakes distributors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society at 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
