James Marvin Eure
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, July 19, 2013, Mr. James Marvin Eure, 84, husband of Mrs. Rheta Riley Eure.
Mr. Eure was born in Fitzgerald, GA but lived in Augusta. He was a very faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. Mr. Eure retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service then worked with Pan Am Contractors for 16 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters and sons-in-law: Renaté “Reneé” and Cary Neeley of Lincolnton, GA, Liane Morris of Augusta, Sonjia and William Holden of Martinez; stepdaughters and their husbands: Denise and Kevin Barnett and Karen and Corey Gray; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Deloris Eure of Live Oak, FL and Lee and Ellie Eure of Sarasota, FL.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Matthew Nelson and Rev. Brian Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Sparky Hayes, David Christopher, Billy Dozier, Don Childers, Donnie Childers and Zachary Salyers.
