James M. Perry

Augusta, GA- James Morris Perry, 84, entered into rest Monday, April 22, 2024, loving husband of the late Karin H. Perry. 

James was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army and retired after serving over 20 years. James was a Dietician and worked at Gracewood and Georgia Regional retiring after 20 years as Director of Food Service. In his spare time James enjoyed fishing and woodworking but mostly spending time with his family.

Family members include his daughter: Anita K. Rickerson and husband Charles; sons: James K. Perry and Timothy M. Perry; grandchildren: Yvonne Perry, Taryn Power (Zeb), Brittany Perry, Heather Perry, Kyle Perry and Steven Rickerson; great grandchildren: Charlotte Power, Bryer Sirmans, Lincoln Power and Olivia Power. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Ray Perry.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25,2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Bellevue Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.
