James Lee Pruitt

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, December 9, 2024, James Lee Pruitt, 81, husband of the late Christine Pruitt.

James was born in Atlanta, GA. He served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. After the military James retired from Wackenhut at Savannah River Site. In his free time James enjoyed wood working, building furniture and spending time with his loved ones, especially his dog “Chrissy”.

Family members include his daughter: Angelika Roberts (Steve); grandson: Anthony Pruitt and stepsisters: Robin Just and Georgie Ann Just. In addition to his wife Christine, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Johanna Bibee and son: Jimmy Pruitt and parents: Jesse and Martha Pruitt.

 A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
