Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, Mr. James Richard Anderson, 61, husband of Pamela W. Anderson.
Mr. James Richard Anderson was a native and life long resident of Augusta. He graduated from Butler High School. Mr. Anderson was a US Marine and served two tours in Vietnam. He was employed by MB Kahn Construction for the last 29 years as a project manager. Mr. Anderson loved golf and Georgia football.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Ila Anderson, the late Ivey Marie Anderson, parents: Ila Grace Anderson and the late William “Bill” Anderson, sister: Nancy Anderson Megee (Mike), brothers: William W. Anderson, III (Ann) and Bruce C. Anderson (Kathi), mother-in-law: Barbara Woodward and many loved family members
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Keith Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews: John Hixon, Ryan Anderson, Robbie Silas, Ryan Widener, Tony Woodward and Brandon Tuchscherer. Honorary Pallbearers will be co workers of MB Kahn and “Old Farts” golf buddies.
