James Harold Schondelmayer

James “Jim” H. Schondelmayer passed away at Piedmont University Hospital on December 11,
2022.

Jim was born in Richmond, Indiana and graduated from Centerville High in 1965. He came to Georgia on a tennis scholarship to South Georgia College and graduated from Augusta College after serving in the Army. Jim spent decades working for the administration of University Hospital. After his retirement, he continued to consult with various businesses. He was a member of Warren Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife: Lois Wright Schondelmayer; children: David James Schondelmayer, Michael Heath Schondelmayer (Carter), Melissa Schondelmayer Chapel (Chris), Danny Shane Renew and Courtney Renew Corbin (Matt); grandchildren: Jack Schondelmayer, Dallas, Palmer and Emma Schondelmayer, Christopher, Aiden, Hunter and Lakelin Chapel, Danica Renew and Lainey Corbin; sister: Deborah Norris (Pug) and brother Mark Schondelmayer and their extended families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold J. Schondelmayer and Norma R. Garinger.
