Jim Stewart
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, December 3, 2012, Mr. James C. Stewart, son of the late Maxcy and Georgia Stewart.
“Big Jim” was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a 1972 graduate of Westside High School. He was a Master Carpenter for the Bennett Company. For many years he also worked for the Red Lion Pub, Surrey Tavern and Squeaky’s Tip Top. Mr. Stewart was a member of Crossbridge Baptist Church. He was a loving brother, uncle and great-uncle.
Family members include his brothers: Maxcy H. Stewart III, George M. Stewart and wife Kathy; nieces: Kristie L. Stewart, Jennifer S. Brucker, nephews: Andrew H. Stewart, and Jesse E. Newkirk; great nieces: Anna Kay and Campbell Brucker and Avery and Harper Stewart.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Noah Kiser officiating. Pallbearers will be Mack, George and Andrew Stewart, Pete Brucker, Stuart DeLoach, Mike Johnson.
