Augusta, GA – Mrs. Jane Hendrix Merritt, beloved wife of Robert D. “Bobby” Merritt and daughter of the late Bernard S. Hendrix and Farris King Hendrix, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. She worked in the curricula division at Fort Gordon until she had children. She was a loving wife, mother and Granny. She will be missed.
Family members in addition to her husband include children: Julie Logue (Tazewell), Robert Merritt, Jr. (Michelle), Joseph Merritt and Douglas Merritt; grandchildren: Brianna Merritt, Trip Merritt, Makenzie Logue, Lawson Logue, Kailey Logue, Jace Logue and Mariah Merritt; sisters: Dixie Bralley (Jim), Virginia Slade and Darlene Miller; brothers: Rocky Hendrix and Bernie Hendrix.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013; 3:00 P.M. at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Mann Memorial United Methodist Church 2705 Milledgeville Rd Augusta, GA 30904.
