Janice J. Dixon

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, February 9, 2015, Mrs. Janice Johnson Dixon, 73, loving wife of 54 years to Robert N. Dixon, Sr.

Janice was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a proud graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and attended Augusta College. She was a bookkeeper by trade but preferred being a homemaker and mother.

Janice’s life was dedicated to serving others. Her greatest joy was her family. For more than 54 years she shared her life with her true love, Robert. She was a spirited cheerleader at countless sporting events, dance and music recitals for her children and grandchildren.

Janice brought life and energy into anything she touched. She was a faithful servant at First Baptist Church. Community service was important to her. She loved helping others and was active in many clubs and organizations. She worked hard whether she was a new member or president.

Janice had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Her life was a lovely example and a gift to all who were blessed to know her.
