Augusta, GA – Miss Janice “Jan” Johnson, 61, entered into rest Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the home of her sister after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Anne Johnson and Julius T. Johnson, M.D. She is survived by four siblings: Traylor Johnson (Julie), Cheryl Johnson Wheeler, Mike Johnson (Peggy) and David Johnson (Sheri); nephews: Adam and Scott; nieces: Jennifer, Whitney, Hope, Abby; great-nephews: Matthew and Brayden and great-niece Lily and her beloved dogs Peach and Pearl.

Jan was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of Richmond Academy and Augusta College. She recently retired from Physicians Practice Group at Augusta University, as the Director of Finance.

Jan spent her last few days, as she would have liked, at Edisto Beach watching her Georgia Bulldogs.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 3:00PM at Westover Memorial Park.
