Augusta, GA – Janice Ruth Kirschner, 69, of Augusta, Georgia entered into rest Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Wife of 51 years to Mr. Robert Kirschner, Mrs. Kirschner was an avid dog lover and enjoyed her work and spending time with friends and family.

Graveside services will be held at Bellevue Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Chaplin Ken Wilson officiating. The family will receive visitors at Thomas Poteet and Son on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons: Robert Kirschner,Jr. (Kathy) , Louis Kirschner (Rene’), grandchildren: Jeremy Kirschner, Rachelle Price, Erin Kirschner, Drew Kirschner, Will Kirschner, Ruth Ann Lytle.

Other survivors include sisters: Evelyn Cahill, Marjorie Drinkwine, Betty Cannon (David), brother Chet Drinkwine (Claire), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kirschner wanted to express her deepest appreciation to family, friends and medical staff for all of the love and support during her illness.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. T. Lamar Walker, Colleen Zimmerman, Bernard Hinson, Mark Usry, Matthew Kuchinski, Thomas Sorrells, Bill Evans and Harold Brinson.
