Janice D. Price

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, November 3, 2022, Mrs. Janice D. Price, 76, loving wife of 52 years to the late Mr. Joseph A. “Tony” Price.

Janice was born in Savannah, GA and moved to Augusta in 1973. She was a devout Catholic and long-time member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Janice was a loving wife, mother, and a good friend to many.

Family members include her son: Joseph A. Price, Jr.; daughters: Michelle P. Dodd (Dewayne) and Jennifer Price; grandchildren: Price J. Dodd, Mason C. Dodd, Ethan D. Dodd, Owen W. Price, Deegan Cessna and Lucy Caplinger; brother: Guy Downing (Mary); and her sister: Vicki Crim. In addition to her husband, Janice was preceded in death by her parents Guion and Lucille Downing.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:15 A.M. until the time of the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church, 1420 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
