Jason Michael Greiner

Spartanburg, SC – Entered into rest on Monday, April 22, 2024, Jason Michael “Jay” Greiner, 38.

Jay was born in Flemington, New Jersey before moving to Augusta. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from St. Augustine University. Jay loved Jesus, God’s creation, and God’s word. He enjoyed Christian music which touched his soul. Jay was an adventurer and dreamer; nothing was too difficult to accomplish or experience. He loved the ocean, was an avid ocean photographer and videographer, and even swam with whales, sharks, and dolphins. Jay had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family members include his parents: Mike and Judi Greiner; sisters: Holli Ackley (Steve) Sandi Lever (Nathan); grandmothers: Susan Greiner and Lois Peachey; nieces and nephews: Chloe, Landon, Paige, Mylee, Ellie and Sydney and many other loving family members. Jay was preceded in death by his grandfathers: George Greiner and Solomon Peachey.

A funeral service will be held at Warren Baptist Church - Augusta, Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Joseph Humphreys and Pastor Andrew Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the church.
