Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, June 24, 2009, Mrs. Jaudon Harley Piper, 86, wife of the late Robert S. Piper, MD.
Mrs. Piper was a native of Barnwell, SC and had resided in Augusta since 1965. She graduated from the University of South Carolina, was a homemaker, a member of the of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, the Augusta Women’s Club and the Reach to Recovery, and was past president of the Augusta Medical Auxiliary.
Family members include her daughters: Susan Piper Genitski and husband Allen of Augusta, Sarah Lucille Piper; son: Robert S. Piper, Jr. and wife Peggy of Augusta and grandsons: Michael Grazick and Jason Genitski both of Augusta.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church with Rev. Robert Fain officiating. Interment will follow in Barnwell City Cemetery, Barnwell, SC.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to The Church of the Good Shepherd, 2230 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
