Jean Leone

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Jean Stuchell Leone, 90.

Jean was born in Sagamore, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Indiana High School. Jean moved to Augusta with her husband Jack where they lived for over forty years.

Family members include her son: Stephen Leone (Donna); daughter-in-law: Janet Leone; grandchildren: Terra Yonker (Ryan), April Chisum (J.D.), Erin Smith (Jason), Michele Holland (John), Elizabeth Leone (John Bowie) and Ava Leone; seven great-grandchildren; and brother: Ted Stuchell (Eula Mae). Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years John “Jack” Leone and sons Michael Leone and Jeffrey Leone.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Solomon Kaanan as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Mary on the Hill Catholic School, 1220 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
