Augusta, Ga – Entered into rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Jeanette Fennell Sentell, wife of 64 years to Prof. Robert Perry Sentell, Jr.
Other family members include their daughter: the late Ruth Ellen Sentell Wilson (Tom); son: Robert Perry Sentell III (Paige); Grandchildren: Dr. Erin Sentell Osteen (Eric), Ellen Paige Sentell, Robert Perry Sentell IV, Robert Jeremy Wilson (Paige), Christopher Perry Wilson (Abby), Jenna Elizabeth Wilson; great-grandchildren: Brady Eric Osteen, Carter Jeremy Wilson, Sam Smith Wilson, and Jack William Wilson; brother: the late James Wilson “Billy” Fennell Jr and sister in law: the late Annette Head Fennell.

Jeanette was born in Hawkinsville, GA but spent most of her life in Athens, GA. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook and seamstress. Jeanette affectionately known as “Mema” by her grandchildren, had an unsurpassed commitment and love of family. She was a devoted Christian lady who was a long-time member of Beech Haven Baptist Church in Athens.

A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens, GA with Rev. John Walker officiating.
