Jeanne S. King

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, October 10, 2024, Jeanne Sisson King, 92.

Jeanne was born in London, England on March 17, 1932. She emigrated to the US in 1958 to marry the love of her life. She worked as an administrative assistant for Bedingfield, McCutcheon, and Perry CPA firm for many years. Jeanne attended Wesley United Methodist Church with her family. She loved to travel the world and attend University of Georgia football games with her husband. To relax Jeanne enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. 

Family members include her children Daniel King (Emily), Dorinda Rutledge (Bill), and Christina Troutman (Tim), seven grandchildren Jessica Rutledge (Ronnie Wu), Olivia King, Sarah Pulliam (Steven), Alan Troutman, Rebecca Maher (Michael), Charlie King, and Emma King and her sister Dorothy Farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bradley King and her parents Edwin and Winifred Sisson.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating.
