Jeannine was born in 1943 to John J. and Geraldine A. Carroll. She graduated from the Academy of Richmond County in 1960. She attended the University of Georgia, majoring in English, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1964. She enjoyed cooking, playing Bridge, and visiting museums. She was also interested in art, movies, and fashion. Throughout her lifetime, Jeannine was an English teacher, a realtor, and worked in Advertising sales at The Washington Post. She was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church.
Family members include children: Christopher M. Venuto, Gregory J. Venuto, Michele T. Cole; grandchildren: Kathryn P. Cole, Margaret A. Cole and Mary E. Cole, Drew C. Venuto and Cameron S. Venuto; siblings: Dennis Carroll of Nashville, TN, Jeff Carroll (Rhonda) of Augusta, GA, and Deborah L. Carroll-Kassler (Mark) of Atlanta, GA.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating.
The family would like to especially thank the Golden Living (Windemere) staff and employees, as well as her nurse, Jill Brand.
