Jeffery D. Willis

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Jeffery David Willis, age 48.
Jeffery was born in Augusta, GA, a graduate of Lakeside High school and Augusta Technical College with a Civil Engineering degree. Jeffery currently worked as a server for Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant and absolutely loved his job. A lover of sports he was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and Florida Seminoles football fan. Following in his father and brother’s footsteps, Jeffery took up golf and became hooked, playing any chance he got. As a teenager Jeffery was an excellent volleyball player. Jeffery will be truly missed.
Family members include his daughters: Anna Willis and Gabby Willis; mother: Nancy Joyner Willis; brother: Jimmie Willis; sister: Rhonda Binger; nephew: Ryan Willis, niece: Megan Knighten; great nephews: Gavin and Skylar Duckworth. Jeffery was preceded in death by his father: James R. Willis; paternal grandparents: James H. Willis and Alda Lee Willis; maternal grandparents: Earl Joyner and Gladys Murphy Joyner.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
