Evans, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, June 18, 2011 at her residence, Mrs. Jennie Hardin, 77, wife of the late Limuel T. Hardin.
Mrs. Hardin was a native of Jefferson Co. and lived in Augusta most of her adult life. She was co-owner of Greenway’s Curb Market for 25 years. Mrs. Hardin was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. She loved eating at Captain D’s and S&S with her friend and companion Roy Buchannon. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera, Ga.
The family would like to thank her caregiver Beverly Tate, United Hospice, Dr. Paul Bilodeau and the staff at MCG.
Family members include daughter: Gina Hardin Weeks and husband Larry, son: the late Byrnie Limuel Hardin, Sr. and wife Deborah, grandchildren: Byrnie Hardin Jr. and wife Rachel, Randy Hardin, Brian Hardin, Megan Weeks, Larry E. Weeks and wife Carolyn, the late James Earl Weeks; great grandsons: Austin, Aiden and Bryson, brother: Buddy Beasley, sister: Thelma Coheley and husband Kenneth; brother-in-law: John Hardin and friend Jo; niece: Diane Brittian and husband Mike; great nephew: Blake Brittian; step-grandchildren: Joseph and Teresa French.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Pat Williams and Rev. Tim Pendrey officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Byrnie Hardin, Jr., Randy Hardin, Larry Weeks, Steve Shepard, Chuck Shepard and Jonathon Combs.
Memorial contributions may be made to The GHSU Cancer (Research) Center, 1410 Laney Walker Blvd., Augusta, GA 30912 or to The Lydia Project, 2501 McDowell Street, Augusta, GA 30904.
