Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Jennie L. McCarty, 58, wife of 24 years to Frederick R. McCarty.
Mrs. McCarty was a native of Parksville, SC. She was a member of Westlake County Club and Parksville Baptist Church. Jennie enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively throughout South America and Asia.
Family members in addition to her husband include parents: Betty W. and the late William B. Adams of Parksville, SC; son: Joseph Adams of Summerville, SC, brothers: Bill and Tim Adams.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society, PO Box 204771, Martinez, GA 30917 or to Heartsong Animal Rescue, 220 Millbrook Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
