Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, May 28, 2016, Mr. James Daniel “Jim” Paschal, 62, loving husband of 23 years to Jenny Clark Paschal.

Mr. Paschal was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church and was a mason with the #315 AFM North Augusta Masonic Lodge. Recently retired, he worked for 30 years in maintenance at Augusta Newsprint. He loved to play golf, followed Clemson athletics, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Paschal had a servant’s heart and was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Danielle Nichols and husband Art, Matt Paschal; grandchildren: Ryan, Luke, and Thomas Nichols; brother: Dewitt Paschal and wife Middy; sister: Pat Ford and husband Ralph; mother-in-law: Ada Clark; other family members include: Rita and Charles Stewart, Caron and Michael Miller, Rebecca and James Nichols, Peggy Turner, Shannon and Johnny Snellgrove, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt and Madge Paschal.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Hatfield, Rev. Jerry Garvin, and Rev. Roy McVeigh officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
