Jimmie Adair

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Mr. Jimmie Joe Bert Adair, 93.

Jimmie was born in Clifton, SC. He was in the U. S. Army during WWII and later in the Air Force serving during Vietnam and retired after 26 years. Jimmie was a member of the American Legion #192. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jimmie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family members include his son: Steven Adair & wife Karen English; daughter: Leslie Piscopo & husband Joseph Piscopo; five grandchildren: Andrea Lathrop, Nicholas Adair, Peyton Bagnard, Cristine Bishop & Kimberly Henschel: and six great grandchildren; he was the last surviving of eleven brothers & sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife Jillian Adair.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Jimmie’s name.
