Mr. Tanner was a native of Red Bank, SC but resided in Augusta since 1964. He spent numerous years in the mobile home and automobile industry.
Family members include sons: Jimmie T. “Tony” Tanner and wife Patricia, Glenn Curtis Tanner and wife Barbara, Robbie A. Tanner and wife Betty all of Martinez, GA; daughters: Susan T. Michaels and husband Ronnie, Tina J. Davis both of Martinez, GA; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers: Quinton Reeder of Lexington, SC; sisters: Charlotte Corley of Lexington, SC and Mary McKinnon of North Augusta, SC. Mr. Tanner was predeceased by his sisters: Sara Fallaw; and Betty Dailey; brothers: George O. Reeder and Charles M. Tanner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
