Jimmy Nixon

Entered into rest on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Mr. James Francis “Jimmy” Nixon, age 63, loving husband of 35 years to Barbara DeGutes Nixon; Loving father of Sarah Nixon and the late James Charles “Jim” Nixon; brother: Johnny Nixon; sister: Becky Davis (Phiny), and many other loving family members.

Jimmy was a 1979 graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. Jimmy retired from East Central Regional Hospital. He loved hunting and fishing and was an active member of Calvary Chapel. Jimmy always had vigor for life; at the age of 51, Jimmy became a Christian and lived to serve Christ and others. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 12 noon at Calvary Chapel Aiken, 1411 E. Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC with Pastor Jim Bigl officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 until the time of service at the church.
