Jimmy Rogers

Jimmy C. Rogers, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, in Grovetown, Georgia. Born on November 29, 1934, in Carroll County, Georgia, Jimmy lived a long and faithful life grounded in devotion to his Lord, his family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Margie Rogers; his son, Phil Rogers; and his granddaughter, Kristy Stevens Jones.Jimmy is lovingly remembered by his family, Cyndie Rogers; Jeff and Robin Stevens; Mike and Brandie Sellers; Lori Stevens; Lee Jones; John and Lauren Stevens; Tucker; Jaiden; Kendall; Callan; Kyleigh; Joey; Jesse, many nieces and nephews, his Sunday School class and his many friends!

A devoted servant of the Lord, Jimmy taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Even into his later years, he remained committed to visiting friends in hospitals and those who were homebound—offering comfort through prayer and presence until just months before his passing.Jimmy was the world’s best husband, Daddy, PawPaw, and Pop. He radiated kindness and made it his mission to ensure everyone he met felt loved—not only by him but by God.

A graveside service honoring Jimmy’s life will be held at Abilene Baptist Cemetery 3917 Old Abilene Church Road in Martinez, Georgia (30907) on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 3:00pm. The family will be available to visit following the service.

Jimmy’s life was a testament to faithfulness—in family, friendship, and service. May his memory bring peace to all who knew him.
