Hephzibah, GA – Mrs. JoAnn Logan, 62, wife of Carl Logan, entered into rest Friday, January 14, 2022, at her residence. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Kevin Towns officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside. The family will receive friends and family Monday, January 17, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son.
Mrs. Logan was born in McRae, Georgia and had been a resident of Augusta since 1962. She was a graduate of Mannheim High School, in Mannheim, Germany and a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher for years and served on the Church’s Missionary Committee doing trips to West Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Hannelore Sears of Hephzibah, GA. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Timothy Marino (Kim), her grandsons, Gage and Connor Marino of Tifton, GA and her granddaughter, Ava Marino also of Tifton, Ga, father, Harrison Sears of Hephzibah, GA, sister, Janet Sears Laubengeyer (Gary) of Marietta, GA and brother, Steven Sears of Hephzibah, GA.
