Augusta, GA - JoAnn Manuel Lundquist, 87, passed away peacefully April 10, 2013. A native of Dubuque, Iowa, she had lived in Augusta since 1971.

She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and attended the University of Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Theodora Manuel. She was a member of Reid Memorial Church, an ordained Deacon, a member of the Emmaus Sunday School Class and a long time member of the chancel choir. She was a sustaining member of the Volunteer Board of University Hospital, former president of Boxwood Garden Club, former president of the Augusta Dental Auxiliary, a member of Country Hills Garden Club and had been a long time worker for the Richmond County Board of Elections. She was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed reading, traveling, walking and cooking.

Mrs. Lundquist is survived by sons: Steven Lundquist and Thomas Lundquist of Raleigh, NC; daughter: Susan L. Jones (Howard) of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren: Heather, Bradley, Brittany and Stewart; two great-grandchildren; one brother: LTC Robert Manuel, USAF (Ret.) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15 at 11:00 am at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Robert Hunt will be officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services at Reid Memorial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church Living Our Legacy Fund, 2261 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
