Joe Murry Nunnery

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Joe Murry Nunnery, 62.

Mr. Nunnery was a lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a loyal supporter of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Joe also enjoyed drinking his favorite beverage, Coca-Cola.

Family members include brothers: Robert “Bob” Merritt Nunnery, Sr., Charles Phillip “Phil” Nunnery, Jr. (Dee Ann); nieces and nephews: Julie Jones, Robert Nunnery, Jr., Laura Nunnery, Ryan Smith, Meaghan Whitledge, Kyle Nunnery and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents Francis M. and Murry E. Nunnery.

A funeral service will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will be in Jakin City Cemetery, Jakin, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be made to Lynndale, Inc.,
1490 Isenhower Dr., Augusta, GA 30904.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at
1:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet and Son.
