Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, January 1, 2012, Mr. John Emmit Driscoll, Jr., 74, husband of Mrs. Marjorie G. Driscoll.
Mr. Driscoll was a native of Youngstown, OH. He enlisted in the US Army at the age of 18 then retired after 20 years of service. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. After retirement from the US Army he began a career in the electronics industry at Thermal Disc.
Family members in addition to his wife include: son, Michael Wayne Johnson; brothers: Donald Driscoll and Richard Driscoll.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Gordon Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
