John Glover

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, February 11, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, Mr. John LeRoy Glover Jr, 80, loving husband of 50 years to the late Bessie Lou Glover.

Mr. Glover was a native of Brunswick, Ga. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Augusta College with a BBA in Accounting and retired as an Instrument Technician from Kimberly – Clark Corp. In recent years, the joy of his life was his grandsons.

Family members include son: John L. Glover III; daughter: Susan G. Coker and husband Chester; grandchildren: Charles D. Cromer, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Stetson B. Cromer, Brittney Cromer Howell; and sister: Lillian Bailey and husband Larry; brother in law: Windom Josey and wife Karen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Forrest Page officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bartow, GA.
