Mr. John Nathaniel Partridge, Jr.

September 19, 1935 - December 10, 2009

AUGUSTA, GA – Mr. John N. Partridge, Jr., 74, entered into eternal rest on December 10, 2009 at University Hospital.
Born in Orlando, FL, Mr. Partridge served in the U.S. Army, and was a proud graduate of Florida State University. Prior to retiring from a long career in insurance sales, he was the owner/president of Partridge & Associates Insurance Company and R.P.A. USA, Inc., and made his home in Raleigh, NC for nearly 40 years before moving to Martinez, GA in 2008.
Mr. Partridge was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay Wright Partridge, son, John Nathaniel Partridge, III and brother, Waring N. Partridge. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Kay and Brett Asher of Clayton, NC; daughter, Cynthia Ann Partridge Mangrum of Martinez, GA; two grandchildren, Lindsay Kay Mangrum and Jonathan David Mangrum; his brother and sister-in-law, Edward A. and Judy Partridge of Winter Haven, FL; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Larry Lewandowski of Lady Lake, FL; his sister, Ruth P. Shepherd of Orlando, FL; his sister, Sara Ann Harkey of Tallahassee, FL; and several loving nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living, friends at The Vineyard Church of Augusta and the Trinity Hospice nurses for their loving care and concern shown to Mr. Partridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made if desired to any charity.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11AM in the chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC, with Rev. Douglas Jessee officiating.
