John Ware

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 30, 2017, Mr. John Joseph Ware, 92, loving husband to the late Lauree Winn Ware.

Mr. Ware had a servant’s heart. He was a member and usher of The Hill Baptist Church. He was a Mason and member of the George Walton Lodge #699. After his military service, he worked for the railroad beginning his career as a machinist working on steam engines and diesel engines. Later, he worked as a millwright for Kimberly-Clark where he retired in 1986. After retirement, he enjoyed singing with his “karaoke family”. He and his brother, Gwinn, loved entertaining the residents at the local retirement homes through music. He always enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with his family.
