Joseph “Joe” Edward Cole, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, January 3, 2015, Joseph “Joe” Edward Cole, Jr., 52, husband of Nina Cole.
Mr. Cole worked at SRS. He was a carpenter for most of his life. His family was his passion and he most recently enjoyed riding his Harley and he loved being with his cat Buzzy.
In addition to his wife, family members include son: Joseph Cole III (Heather); daughter: Alicia Cole (Ryan Fagan); grandchildren: Gavin Cole, McKenna Cole, Jordan Fagan, and Arial Fagan; sisters: Debbie Hardin, Donna Powell, Cheryl Shields, and Teresa Adkins; and mother: Janice Cole. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Cole, Sr. and sister, Janice Huffman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Joe Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will include: Joseph Cole III, Richard Bullard, Anthony Strelec, David Shields, Lenny Starke, and Tony Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association: 2050 Walton Way, Suite 208, Augusta, GA 30904.
