Joseph D. “Joe” Kardos

April 5, 1940 - December 10, 2009

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the residence, Mr. Joseph D. “Joe” Kardos, 69, husband of Reba Lucas Kardos.,

Mr. Kardos was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Kardos was a general maintenance millwright with I.P. Paper ,and a member of the Paper Makers Union.

Family members in addition to his wife include his son: Joseph R Kardos of Augusta; daughters: Teresa Cardullo or Evans, Nicole Dravecky of Albany, GA; brothers: Dennis P Kardos of Stirling, NJ, John M. Kardos of Stirling, NJ; and four grandchildren.


Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Michael Lubinsky officiating.
