Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, December 7, 2020, Mrs. Joyce Montie Richardson, 85, loving wife of the late Jeff Richardson.

Joyce was a lifelong resident of Augusta and a member of Christ Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, watching soaps, and going to church. She loved the Lord and her family.

Family members include his granddaughters: Lauren Screws (Joshua) and Katy Richardson; grandson: Jason Richardson (Tiffany); great grandchildren: Maddie Bass, Dylan Richardson, and Dalton Richardson; special caregiver: Lina Forshee; and daughter-in-law: Dana Richardson Sapp. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, James Richardson, and sister, Carolyn Lipp.

Special thanks to Ronnie and Linda Perkins, Barbara Creed, Eddie and Glenda West, and Encompass Hospice for all their care.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Eddie West officiating. Pallbearers will be Curtis Turner, Joshua Screws, Jason Richardson, Parrish Cummings, Joey Tupper, and Ronnie Perkins.
