Joyce Knotts Scarborough

Augusta, GA – On Sunday, February 28, 2021, Joyce Knotts Scarborough crossed over to her eternity in Heaven, and into the embrace of her Lord Jesus Christ and her beloved waiting. She was the loving wife of the late Roy Scarborough, Jr.

Mrs. Joyce was a devoted member of Curtis Baptist Church.

Family members include her children: Timothy Lee Scarborough (Kim), Patricia Scarborough Patchen, Jessica Scarborough Owens; grandchildren: Angela K. Scarborough, Annaliah Rhodes; great grandchildren: Lily Masters, Adilynn Robin Rhodes; sister-in-Law: Jeanne McDougal Knotts. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson: Hunter Lee Scarborough; parents: Ulysses Simeon Knotts and Daisy Iona Gleaton Knotts and her siblings: Ulysses S Knotts, Jr., Mary Lou Martin, and Rev. Thomas M Knotts.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Mark Sterling officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
