Juanita Taylor
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 2, 2010, Juanita Taylor, wife of Edward L. Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, as was active in all church activities. She loved children and had a passion for cooking. Juanita would spend hours on end watching the cooking channels and researching cookbooks and magazines for just the right recipe to prepare. She loved hosting dinner parties, although most of her time was spent in the kitchen and serving others. She was the owner and operator of Mount Vernon Nursery and Day Care, and Meadowbrook Day Care, also she managed a day care facility from her home for 30 years. Mrs. Taylor was nominated by Tonya Taylor for Columbia County’s Chef of the Week on August 31st 1995 for her White Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Butter Cream Frosting.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. L. Gordon Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Todd Williams, Steve Raburn, James M. Foshee, Clayton Foshee, Samuel Griff Lee, Donnie Davidson, Ronnie Collier.
