Ms. Gladue was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan but resided in Augusta for a number of years. She worked as an administrative secretary for the Richmond County Board of Education.
Family members include her brothers: Craig E. Gladue (Gail) of Grovetown, Bruce W. Gladue (Scarlett) of Grovetown, Allen W. Gladue (Clair) of Evans, aunt: Marian Grace of North East Maryland, niece: Savanna Ashley Gladue; godchild of Allen & Clair Gladue: Jasmine Faith Pennington,
