Augusta, Ga. – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 9, 2013, Mrs. Judy Avary Wireman, 56, wife of Mr. Roy L. Wireman. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Frances Avary.

Mrs. Wireman received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Augusta College. She taught 2nd grade for a number of years at Glenn Hills Elementary School. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Harold Smith Co-Ed Sunday School Class.

Family members in addition to her husband include son: Roy (Casey) A. Wireman; “adopted” granddaughter: Kylee Scholfield; brother: Walter (Sandy) Worsham; sisters: Nell (George) Matick, Betty (Ed) Manry, Ginger (Scott) Galloway; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to recognize the special love, friendship and support shown by David Hill, Marsha Altvader and Deana Scholfield during Judy’s extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. L. Gordon Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Darren Smith, David Smith, Jeff Padgett, David Hill, David White, and Rodney Hampton. Honorary pallbearers will be the faculty and staff of GHES.
