Judy Exline

Judith “Judy” Pedrick Exline of Augusta, age 82, entered into rest Saturday, December 14, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, John (Jac) and Lillie Pearl Pedrick; daughter, Carla Kathleen Giddens and grandson, Casey Seth Williams, and her significant other of 20 years, Julian O’Quinn. 

Judy is survived by her daughters, Christine Rollins (Lamar) and Dana Jenkins (Ken); and son, James Jones; grandchildren: Waylon Steele (Jimmy), Krystyn Radford, Justin Shobert (Blair), Joshua Shobert (Stacy), Jonah Jones, and Luca Jones; and great-grandchildren: Gabe Shobert, Brody Shobert, Hynlee Shobert, Tatum Williams, Tye Shobert, Dalton Shobert, and Brett Shobert. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Pedrick (Casey).

She retired from the Medical College of Georgia as a Certified Medical Transcriptionist after 28 years. She worked for Dr. Joseph R. Shaver as a transcriptionist for 12 years before officially retiring at the age of 74. Judy enjoyed time with her family and finding special decorating projects for her family to do. She will be greatly missed by her family and know that she now has her heavenly body and is singing in Heaven.

Christie and Dana would like to send a special thanks to Lamar Rollins and Adrienne Talford for their selfless and compassionate care of our mom. The family would also like to send a special thanks to mom's healthcare team at Trinity Hospice, especially Alicia, RN. Their compassion and care was superior.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. John Bartlett officiating. A private interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
