Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, June 7, 2015, Mrs. Judy L. Johnson, 53, loving wife for 39 years to Charles T. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to her family and to God. She loved cooking, the Cowboys, and the Braves.
Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Charles T. Johnson, Jr.; daughters: Lisa M. Johnson, Jennifer L. Herrin and husband Christopher; grandchildren: Montana Rain Herrin, Trenton Johnson Herrin; sister: Diane Dixon; brothers: Robert Weathington, Bobby Weathington; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Alice Weathington, and brother, Charles Wayne Weathington.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Don Widener officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Dixon, Solomon Wilson, Johnny Rockefeller, Chad Widener, Edward Wilson, and Keith Evangelista.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lydia Project, 1369 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909.
