Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 3, 2010 at University Hospital, Mrs. Judy McCormick Booker, 82, wife of the late James T. “Ty” Booker.
Mrs. Booker was a native of Marion, Illinois but lived most of her life in Augusta. She retired from Lily Tulip after 34 years of service. The family would like to thank Dr. Watts, Kevin, Joanna, Nancy and the staff at University Open Heart Recovery for their love and care.
Family members include: son: Norman Booker and wife Glenda of Martinez, GA. daughter: the late Kathy Mertins; three grandchildren: Tracy Tedder, Ted Tedder, Todd Booker and wife Kim, four great grandchildren: Hannah Booker, Harrison Booker, Kyle Tedder and Jacob Tedder; sisters: Mary E. Henderson of Rochelle, IL. and Freda M. Parkins of Fort Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Philip Hedgecloth officiating.
