Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 6, 2010, Mrs. Judy Silver, 62, wife of Thomas F. Silver.

Mrs. Silver was a native of Fort Lee, VA and had resided in the Augusta area for over 40 years. She was a member of The Vineyard Church were she also attended the Tuesday Morning Ladies Group and the Bible Study Home Group. Mrs. Silver was retired from the Richmond County Housing Authority.

Family members in addition to her husband include sons: Joseph W. Graves of Martinez, GA, Troy C. Graves of San Francisco, CA, daughter: Mary C. Graves of Mission Viejo, CA, stepsons: Tommy Silver, Jr. and Marty Silver both of Augusta, GA, stepdaughters: Mary Kay Silver of Augusta, GA and Trish Schmidt of Columbia, SC, grandchildren: Wyatt Graves, Camille Graves, Griffin Graves and Joseph Turner Graves all of Martinez, GA, sisters: Louise P. Lawrence, Jane M. Penkunas and Marie E. Klofenstine. Mrs. Silver was preceded in death by her parents: William George and Katherine C. Penkunas and brother: William R. Penkunas.


A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at The Vineyard with Pastor Reese Leroy officiating.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Vineyard Compassion Ministry Fund, 3126 Parrish Road, Augusta, GA 30907.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
