Julian "Ray" Williams

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, December 22, 2022, Julian “Ray” Williams, 77.

Ray was born in Millen, GA. He was a member of Local 150 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union for over 50 years and retired from SRS. Ray enjoyed Golf and worked at the Augusta National during Masters Week for over 20 years, and at Jones Creek Golf Club after retirement. He was a longtime member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. Ray was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons and enjoyed spending Summers with his family and friends at Hilton Head Island. Ray was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.

Family members include his sons: Travis Williams (Ava), Kevin Williams (Leigh Anne); grandchildren: Dr. Austin Williams, (Emily), and Kayleigh Williams; great grandchild: Isla Williams; and sister: Ann Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Williams and parents Remer and Warnell Williams.

The funeral service will be Saturday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
