Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, January 11, 2021, Julie Marie Posey, 38, beloved daughter of Jean S. Posey and the late Danny F. Posey, Julie is also survived by her two children: Lucas and Leia and her brother, Dan Posey.

Julie is a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She graduated from the Academy of Richmond County, Class of 2000, where she enjoyed being a varsity cheerleader, a member of the yearbook staff, and many other school related activities. She attended Augusta State University. Julie was employed by T-Mobile as a Senior Account Expert and worked in the customer support department for 12 years.

Julie enjoyed SCUBA diving, traveling, and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. She loved her friends, family, with her children being her greatest love and passion.

A chapel service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Johnny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
