June Savage

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on April 9, 2023, Mrs. Muriel June Savage, 93, loving wife of 68 years to the late Clarence R. Savage, Jr.

June was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was an incredible homemaker who prepared countless meals and was always providing for her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Family members include her sons: Rick Savage of Thomson, Danny Savage of Augusta, Brett L. Savage of North Augusta, and David White of North Augusta; grandchildren: Jesse Savage, Daniel Savage, Nikki Savage, Matthew Savage, and Jordan Savage; great grandchildren: Tanner and Teagan Savage, and Sonny Savage; brother: Johnny Sutton, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Clarence “Sonny” R. Savage, III, and siblings, Everett DeHart, James DeHart, Dorothy Wilson, Josephine Reber, Marie Trotter.

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jane Wells Bible School Class, c/o St. Mark United Methodist Church, 2367 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30904.
