Justin D. Harris

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Justin Daniel Harris, who went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2024, at the age of 29. Born on August 6, 1995, in Augusta, Georgia, Justin lived in Miami for several years, and currently resided in Atlanta where he pursued his lifelong passion for music as a skilled sound mixer.

Justin was the beloved son of Ginger Fox Haun (Bill) and Danny Harris. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his cousins whom he loved more than they will ever know. He is survived by his siblings: Tucker Harris, Graeson Tomlinson, Garrett Haun, Ryan Haun, and Rebecca Haun. He is also survived by his Aunt Truett Wilson (Mike), Uncle Stan Fox (Anne), and Aunt Karyn Edmondson (Paul), along with a host of great aunts and uncles who cherished him deeply.

A devoted animal lover, Justin had a special place in his heart for all creatures. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and skateboarder who embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm. As a young man, he was a dedicated fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, and football remained a strong interest throughout his life.

Justin’s career in music and sound mixing brought him joy and fulfillment, and he will be remembered for his talent, creativity, and passion for his craft. His positive energy and love for life touched the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Justin's life with a more public gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Equine Rescue of Aiken, SC, 532 Glenwood Dr, Aiken, SC 29803 - an organization that was dear to his heart.

Justin’s spirit will live on through the music he loved, the animals he cared for, and the many memories he leaves behind.
