Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, January 17, 2012, Mrs. Karen Dean Berry Sisson, 45, wife of Mr. Anthony Walter Sisson.
Mrs. Sisson graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church and was a faithful dog fan. Mrs. Sisson was a loving mother and wife.
Family members in addition to her husband include daughter: Tambra Latrelle Nalley and husband Jason, sons: Anthony J. Sisson, Tyler M. Sisson, brother: Rev. Donald A. Berry, Jr. and wife Christie, sister: Nancy Berry Lowery and husband Monty, father: Donald A. Berry “Swifty” and his wife Madeline Berry, and granddaughter: Lillian Nalley. Mrs. Sisson is preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Deas Berry.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Abilene Baptist Church with Rev. Don Berry, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Bedgood, Monty Lowry, Stephen Lowry, Jay Nalley, John Steele, and David Hutto.
Memorial contributions may be made to Abilene Baptist Church, 3917 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
