Augusta, GA – Karine Welch Wooten Cashin died peacefully in the hospital on September 3, 2017 in Augusta, Georgia. Born October 20, 1935 to William Edward and Mary Welch Wooten in Albany, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kathleen Spence of Brunswick, Georgia.
She is survived by her husband Robert Anthony Cashin of Augusta, her four sons, Robert Anthony (Ashley) Cashin, Jr of Alpharetta, William Wooten (Elizabeth) Cashin of Augusta, Tyler Joseph (Katy) Cashin of New Orleans, and John Crittenden (Kelly) Cashin of Augusta. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren: Graham O’Leary Cashin, Mary Margaret Cashin, Karine Ellen Cashin, Robert Anthony Cashin III, James Ernest Cashin, Anna Kathleen Cashin, Carolyn Gill Cashin, William Jacob Cashin, Tyler Daniel Cashin, Erin Welch Cashin, and Tyler Noelle Cashin.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Son. There will be a private funeral at a later date.
